The grapes for this wine were hand picked from selected low yielding vineyards then traditionally fermented in open-top tanks and hand plunged. Ageing in French oak barriques for eleven months has nicely married the warm and elegant berry fruit flavours with the supple oak tannins

Colour: Deep garnet and ruby tones with good density
Aroma: Black plum, hints of cherry. Liquorice and spicy notes
Palate: Ripe and generous with fruit. A smooth texture and persistent complex finish

This wine is easy to enjoy on release. Maturity is expected between late 2004 to mid 2006.
