Tom Tenuwera - Owner & Director

Tom acquired Highfield with his business partner and friend Shin Yokoi in 1991. A passion for fine wines of the world, a love for New Zealand and the opportunity to create fine Marlborough wines for the international market stimulated Toms purchase.

Highfield was one of the first New Zealand wine companies with overseas owners however Tom now enjoys the laidback rural lifestyle of a real Kiwi living up the Brancott Valley in Marlborough.
